Separation distances between gas bottles & gas cylinders
Flammable gases, toxic gases, and oxygen must be separated by at least three metres or by a non-combustible barrier at least 1.5 metres high with a fire resistance rating of at least 30 minutes.
Compressed oxygen must be kept 10 metres away from all flammable gases, including propane and butane.

Gas cylinders should be stored upright and secured to prevent falling. They should not be placed directly on the ground or in areas where water can accumulate.
Indoor storage of flammable gases must be in purpose-built compartments with adequate ventilation, and the area should be classified for hazardous materials.

Display regulations governing gas bottles & gas cylinders
In commercial settings, no more than five gas bottle cylinders should be displayed with a total weight not exceeding 70kg. Larger gas bottle cylinders (over 20kg) should not be displayed in shops, especially if the shop is below residential premises.
Gas bottles and cylinders must be treated as full unless they are dummy bottles or certified as gas-free.
