What are sheet & mesh steel stillages used for?

Sheet metal stillages and mesh steel stillages are manufactured in many different configurations. Sheet metal stillages feature solid steel sides, protecting your stillage’s contents from product loss during handling or storage. Mesh steel stillages are used similarly for storage and movement of larger products, while the overall stillage is lighter owing to the mesh, rather than solid steel, sides.

Commonly used for the storage, stacking, loading and transportation of construction products, sheet metal and mesh steel stillages can be made easier to move by customising your stillages with forklift pockets, or even castor wheels. Stackable to 4 units hight, sheet metal and mesh steel stillages are used by industries as diverse as logistics, construction, manufacturing, engineering and forestry.

What are lockable stillages used for?

Lockable stillages are used for the storage and handling of your site’s higher-value components, equipment or parts, or where you need additional storage space in an area which isn’t easy for you to keep an eye on, such as on a construction site.

Our lockable site stillages and storage boxes are often used by customers in the construction trade, warehousing, engineering and manufacturing sectors for the secure storage of tool batteries, tools, metal or other valuable components, and equipment of higher value or that requires protection from others on site.

What are crane lifting stillages used for?

Similar to our standard stillage range, crane lifting stillages are adapted with lifting lugs or eyes so they can be safely lifted by a crane, forklift, telehandler or HIAB to reach areas of a site where your team may be working at height, or perhaps where access to materials is trickier.

Crane lifting stillages are widely used in heavy engineering, construction and manufacturing environments for lifting and moving construction materials, components and parts.
